The Rotary Club of Anna
Maria Island was chartered in 1966 and is in Zone 34, District 6960, Area 11.
* Our club has 35 members.
* In Rotary Year 2006-07, our club took second place in our district for per capita giving: $780.57 per capita
was the final amount.
* In the last year, our club has made monetary or in-kind donations to 37 organizations/projects
worldwide and we provided instances of hands-on service to 14 local groups.
* We provide and maintain the "Welcome
to Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island" sign on Manatee Ave., on the street side of the Kingfish Boat Ramp.

Our primary annual fundraiser is the Island Extravaganza and Casino Night, which will be held on March 14, 2008.
